The 7 voice packs, explained
Woman
Dramatic · Cinematic · Maximum chaos
The most expressive pack. Sounds range from a startled gasp at light taps to a full theatrical scream at maximum force. This is what most people imagine when they think of SlapMac. Best for first-time demos.
Best for: First demos, co-workers who need to see it to believe it
Combo Hit
Fighting game · Satisfying · Punchy
Street Fighter-style impact sounds — the kind that play when a character takes a hit. Light taps get a soft thud; hard slaps get the full multi-hit combo sound. Deeply satisfying if you grew up in arcades.
Best for: Gamers, standing desks, anywhere you want audible dopamine
Whiny
Melodramatic · Groany · Absurd
Exaggerated whimpers, groans, and complaints — the sound of a toddler being told it's bedtime. The pitch rises with force in a way that's almost too realistic. This pack tends to make bystanders concerned.
Best for: Annoying your colleagues, solo late-night work sessions
Fart
Juvenile · Reliable · Timeless
Exactly what it says. The volume and wetness scale with slap force in a way that the developer clearly spent too long calibrating. Not recommended for open-plan offices unless you work somewhere great.
Best for: Anyone under 14 (or who remains 14 at heart)
Gentleman
Dignified · British · Unexpectedly funny
Polished exclamations — "Indubitably!", "Good heavens!", "I say!" — delivered with impeccable calm. The contrast between a slap and a composed British response is 80% of the humor. Slow down, sir.
Best for: Professional settings, Zoom calls where you want a double-take
Yamete
Anime · High-pitched · A lot
Anime-style protest sounds. This pack has the highest entertainment-to-regret ratio. Absolutely phenomenal for showing people who don't expect it; immediately silenced at family gatherings.
Best for: Anime fans, controlled environments, trolling your flatmates
Goat
Pure chaos · Inexplicably funny · Eternal
Goat screams. Genuine, uncut goat screams at various intensities. Nobody can explain why goats screaming is funny. It just is. This pack is the one people screenshot and share without context.
Best for: Everything. Universally appropriate except at funerals.
Which pack should you start with?
Woman if you want maximum dramatic impact for first demos. Combo Hit if you want something that feels satisfying day-to-day. Goat if you just want to watch the world burn (lovingly).
The good news: switching takes one click, so there's no wrong answer. Most people rotate based on who's in the room.
Want to use your own sounds?
SlapMac supports custom sound folders. Point it at any directory of MP3 or WAV files and it'll use those instead of — or alongside — the built-in packs. Guide: how to add custom sounds to SlapMac →
